- Legacy stewardship and donor development: Continuing to steward legacy gift opportunities and deepen donor/fundholder relationships while maintaining strong current-year development activity. From April 1 through June 30, 2026, the Foundation received $1,059,489.56 in donations across 386 gifts from 245 donors.
- Community leadership and data: Advancing the Community Indicators/Data Project as a potential tool for local decision-making, nonprofit support, donor education, and civic health. This includes research into local data sources, dashboard models, and ways the Foundation can support nonprofits, donors, and community leaders with better shared information.
- Donor, nonprofit, and community relationships: Continuing to steward key relationships with donors, fundholders, nonprofits, committee members, and community partners. Examples are our recent donor tour and our impact reports, e.g Dr James M. Ulesich Memorial Scholarship Fund and Ellen Carlson’s Fund for the Boyceville Library.
- Events and donor engagement: Continuing a busy season of donor and community engagement, including recent Flag Day activities, speaking at community gatherings, planning for a Legacy Lunch for legacy society members, and development of a co-hosted event with WMG focused on bringing philanthropy into focus for their clients.
- Giving circle support and development: Supporting the Women’s Giving Circle through its current leadership transition and strategic planning.
- Grant data and reporting project: Continuing work on grant data cleanup and categorization to strengthen future reporting, improve internal consistency, and better communicate the Foundation’s grantmaking impact by program area and community need.
